Mia's 7th Birthday

For Mia's Birthday, she wanted to get her ears pierced. There was only one person there for the ear piercing, and if I could do it again, I would wait until we could have someone do both ears at the same time. She did SO awesome for the first ear, and then FREAKED out and wouldn't let us do the second ear for about an hour. It was a complete disaster, but finally, Chris got her to sit still to get the second ear pierced and now she's super happy about it :) Hopefully one day I can look back on that and laugh.

 

 

She wanted a "unicorn strawberry cake", so I did my best with this Strawberry ice box cake.

Sand Hollow

 Grandma Kimmy and Grandpa Brian got a new boat, and we all took a trip to Sand Hollow to try it out for the first time. Rhett and Mia surfed with daddy, and it was the cutest thing! Rhett loved it SO much and kept begging for more. Mia was still nervous, but I was pretty proud of how brave she was :)

Daddy worked REALLy hard to pull up himself and his little girl with only one arm to surf. We're so grateful for him and love him so much!
