Tessa and her doggie "Dukie" <3

The only picture of the many balloon arches I've been helping to make lately ha ha

Pictures Mia's teacher has sent from school

My darling little Reesie got asked to be a flower girl at Chris's cousin Taylor's wedding. I was seriously so nervous and stressing because recently Reesie has entered a more shy and reserved phase. She hasn't even gone up to the front with the primary kids the last few times that they have sang in church. We had lots of conversations about her being brave and growing and becoming stronger even when in feels uncomfortable. Some days she seemed excited but other days she cried and said she didn't want to do it. The day before the wedding was a night of crying and saying she didn't want to do it. I was very worried, but I ended up being so proud of her! She did it, and she was so very darling while she did it! I'm so proud of Reesie for doing something that felt uncomfortable for her and I know she is stronger because of it. She was so happy after ha ha :) <3

During General Conference the kids did some really cute art. I meant to get pictures but sadly this is the only picture I have, and it was taken by one of the kids on our very old iPad, so the quality isn't very good, but I think it's the sweetest!

 Tessa:

Tessa heard "hi this is Chris" on Chris's answering machine and said, "That is Mrs. Chris! He told you! That is Mrs. Chris!"

"Swimming-soup" (swimming-suit)

While we were driving to Disneyland Tessa had a moment in the car where she was unhappy about being in the car and driving for so long. She started crying and yelling "Jesuuuusssss!" :,) It was very sweet.

While we were in Disneyland, we went to "Talking With Crush". Crush always says, "You so totally rock!", and afterward Tessa kept saying, "You're so totally wrong!"

Reesie:

Reesie was trying to do her own hair in a ponytail and made a pretty bad knot. The ponytail was knotted so bad in her hair that I had to cut a little chunk of her hair to get it out. Reesie said, "Mom I did my hair, and then I tried to undo it, and then, POOF! It had a knot in it!"

Reesie: "Mom when you were in kindergarten did you ever have a boy have a crush on you, and you thought he was weird?"

Me: "Ummm....ya"

Reesie: "Cause that's what's happening to me."

Rhett:

After getting out of the pool and looking at his skin Rhett said,

"Look at all these moosebumps."

Me: "Moosebumps??"

Rhett: "What are they called? Bump-mooses?"

To me, "I love you so much. What would I do without you? I just want to go and find your parents and tell them, 'Thank you so much for taking care of my mom, because she's now being a great person.'"

Mia:

Talking about Halloween, "Mom, you should be the goddess of love and beauty. And dad should be the god of war and fire. Because he's VERY strong."

Mia got a cool make your own soap box from my mom for her birthday. After making it she said, "I made soap out of science."

Mia's 10th Birthday

My little Mia Soph has grown so much. I'm so proud of this girl. She is such and inventive little creator. She has such a bright mind and she loves making, knitting, sewing, crafting, and cooking right now. She's very smart, and sometimes a little too smart for her britches ha ha! She is very helpful and I honestly lean on her a lot. Love you little sweet cheeks and I'm so glad you are ours!
