Reese got this flower as a Christmas gift from her kindergarten teacher. It bloomed after the new year :)

One morning we got TONS of snow and Chris decided that even though school didn't get canceled he was calling a snow day for our kids :) Some neighbors had the same idea and invited our kids to be pulled in sleds behind their four wheeler with them. The kids had a blast, it was such a fun memory! Poor Reesie got a little case of the icy face after riding though.
So productive in our attempt at an ice fort ha ha!
We're getting ready to repaint our walls and Chris decided now would be the time to whitewash our fireplace. We've been talking about it for a long time. I love the stone but we thought a little lighter might be more of the color scheme we are hoping for. It had lots of orange which was kind of hard to flow with decorating. I didn't want it to look like a solid paint, I really wanted there to be lots of variation in color so I hope that came through. We mixed our paint 50% paint to 50% water. Then we used dry brushes dipped it in the paint, then squeezed a lot off onto a towel and just tried to give it a light dusting.
These little girls absolutely love it when daddy calls and invites us to come to his office and have Chik Fil A for lunch with him. <3
I heard her threatening Siri in the other room, "HEY SIRI! Turn on Aladdin songs, or I will turn you off!"
Then on another occasion I heard her having this conversation with Siri. Sometimes Siri doesn't quite understand her or do what she says. Honestly it's amazing Siri ever does understand her ha ha.
Tessa *mad that Siri wasn't doing what she said: "Siri you're rude!"
Siri: "Thank you, you are so sweet."
Tessa *runs laughing and smiling to tell me that Siri said she was so sweet :)
