Chris was at a work conference for a week and we all missed him a ton! The day before he was coming home, I asked Tessa what her favorite thing that happened that day was and she said, "That dad is coming home." <3

Rhett's 1st season of comp basketball is over. Rhett experienced so much learning and humbling and teaching and overcoming setbacks and gaining back confidence and not giving up and teamwork and growth this season. I could go on, but I really am just so proud of this boy. I feel like my heart was out there with him as I watched him fail and succeed and keep trying the gain resilience and not give up and have amazing successes and growth. I'm genuinely sad to see it end. I love seeing my kids be passionate about something and work hard for it. We love our little basketball player!

Tessa loves playing her matching game that she got for Christmas a while back. We play it all the time. The other day we were playing and she picked a match and then she said, "See mom! You just pick match!"
After I had been cleaning the house, "Mommy you did a good job cleaning!"
There is a road that is by our house that Tessa and Reese love for me to drive down. They beg for it all the time. Tessa calls it "the butterfly hill" because it gives them butterflies. :)

When I was making homemade pizza for Chris's birthday, "Mom you make such good pizza. If you made a pizza shop and called it 'Mama Murphy's' people would be coming and buying it ALL DAY!" (There is a current pizza shop called 'Papa Murphy's') :D
