Month #6

I cannot believe this baby is 6 months old today!! Mia is our little angel.  Chris and I always ask each other how we got such a perfect little baby.  We love this munchkin more than we can say.  Mia loves to eat solids now!  She has tried rice cereal, bananas, apples, and carrots.  We can't put the spoon in her mouth fast enough when she's eating!  Mia also rolled from her back to her tummy this past month and she's mastering sitting on her own.  This little girl is growing way too fast!

This shirt is completely accurate.  Love this daddy's girl of mine!
I cannot get enough of this precious face...

Mia loves to suck on her first two fingers

Being Mia's mom is the most amazing experience.  I feel so blessed to have this little angel in my life.  We love you baby girl!

Spring Break

For Chris' spring break this past week, we decided to go to St. George for the weekend.  We stayed in a house Chris' grandparents own.  Aubrey, Landon, and little Luke came down with us.  It was such a blast hanging out with them.  This was just the break we needed.  I wish it had never ended…

Mia is always such a trooper when we travel. She slept for the first half of the drive, then we stopped halfway and got dinner and fed her.  She got a break for about an hour, and then got right back in the carseat for the second half of the trip.  She slept the whole rest of the way!  What a little angel.

The next day, all she wanted to do was stretch her little legs and hang out with daddy :)

Chris went golfing the first day as an early birthday present.  He loved it, but Mia was so happy when he finally got home.

Friday was Chris' birthday!  I am beyond grateful that this boy of mine came into the world 22 years ago.  I don't know what I would do without him.

We had SO much fun on Chris' birthday!  We started off with a big yummy breakfast, and then headed off to the outlets.  We went to dinner at Anasazi Grill.  This restaurant is such an amazing experience, and our steaks were delicious!

Our little family

On Saturday, Chris and I took Mia for her first trip to the swimming pool.  Sadly, the outdoor pool was closed.  The echoing noise in the indoor pool made Mia really nervous.  She was only in the water with Chris for about a minute before she got splashed in the face by some kids playing nearby…:) and so Mia's first time swimming ended in tears.

We decided to head back to the house and have a picnic in the backyard instead.  Mia liked this idea much better :)

Mia loved laying out on the grass in her little towel fort we made her to keep her out of the sun.  Until…the sprinklers came on.  Poor Mia was laying right in front of one, so she got pretty wet before we had time to grab her.

But our sweet little baby didn't even cry.  I think she was mostly just shocked…:)
