Rhett's 1st month with us has been so sweet! At his 2 week appointment he was 8 lbs 2 oz and 20.5 inches long. His weight gain is much more than expected since they only expect babies to maintain their birth weight at the two week appointment, and Rhett has gained 1 pound and 2 oz! He is the best little sleeper, has been rolling like a champ from his tummy to his back since he was 4 weeks old, and reminds me so much of his daddy.
One of our first moments all settled into our new home together. Mia saw daddy and Rhett snuggling it up and had to join in.
A few days after we brought Rhett home and got settled into our new house, Rhett was crying. Mia asked me why he was crying and I told her he was hungry. She ran and put my nursing cover on and told me "I feed him mom! Put him in der!"
I was gone for a few minutes and came in to find Mia putting herself to bed in Rhett's bassinet. :)
Mia is overflowing with love for her little brother. When he cries she will sing "it's otay Wet. It's otay yitto boy. It's otay yitto buddy." or she will run over to him and say "I get him mommy."
