Halloween

Mia loved this Halloween so much! For days before Halloween she kept asking me if it was Halloween yet, and she wanted to try on her costumes over and over again! On Halloween she kept saying "It's Halloween Day!" Rhett dressed up as our adorable little monkey, and Mia kept changing her mind. She went from Rapunzel to a Minion and finally settled on Elsa just before we walked out the door. We painted pumpkins at Grandma Kim's before heading out trick or treating and Mia thought it was the best thing ever! She would laugh and run from house to house saying "Come on Mom and Dad!" It was the cutest most fun Halloween we've ever had!

Month #11

Rhett is a pretty daring little guy! He loves to climb! He goes up and down the stairs and pushes toys against furniture so he can climb up on it. He has even started to climb up on the baseboards so he can look out the windows (which is one of his favorite things). He got his 7th tooth this month. He loves to bonk heads with people, gives high fives, wave hello and goodbye, and still bites a lot! He can stand up all by himself in the middle of a room without using anything to pull himself up and he has taken up to 5 steps at a time! He is so close to walking.

Disneyland

Days before heading to Disneyland we were getting pretty excited and our chalk drawings show it…:)

Tianna and Ariel

Rapunzel and Elsa

Pocahontas

We were obviously unsuccessful with keeping Rhett from eating chalk.

The drive to Disneyland was pretty rough. We drove through the night to St. George and then the rest of the way the next day. Rhett and Mia both threw up a bunch while we were driving and poor little Rhett was not feeling good with a tooth coming in. My poor little ones were having a really rough time. I loved these snuggles though.

The drive was filled with rough moments, but Rhett and Mia are seriously angels and the biggest troopers! I'm so proud that they are ours.

Our first day in California, after driving all day we headed to the park in time to catch a parade and get dinner.

The next morning we were at the park in time for breakfast with the characters. Mia still wasn't feeling her best, but she was the sweetest little trooper and it was so cute to see her face and her sweet reactions when she saw the characters she loves!

Dumbo the Flying Elephant

Whenever I asked Mia who she wanted to meet, she would tell me Anna and Elsa. She was pretty timid and starstruck when she was talking to them, but as soon as we started walking away she literally skipped with a huge smile on her face and chattering about how she met Anna and Elsa! It was one of my favorite things to see.

Crazy climber

Mia thought it was hilarious to hide behind Woody and Buzz.

Mia kept talking about riding this horse on the Carousel. She thought it was awesome!

Watching and dancing during Disney Junior Live Onstage

Mia was pretty excited to go to the Build a Bear workshop with us and make her own little bear. She named her Icie, and she sings the song "Let It Go" from Frozen. We also made a Chewbacca bear for Rhett.
