Cute Mia and her cousins absolutely love having a sleepover at grandma's over the summer. Their sweet Grandma spoils them with all their requested meals and fun activities. This year she and Aunt Blenda took them out to dinner for a fun girls' night.

Football started for our handsome little stud player.

Rhett with his cutest little fan. Sweet Reesie loves dressing up in football gear and cheering for her brother.

Dress like a cowboy/girl day at school.

Rhett has been complaining about his back hurting since playing at his cousin's the other day. On the drive home he said he was running around playing tag in the basement in his socks. He was running and trying to change direction and stop, but was sliding in his socks. He said he slammed his back into a doorknob and it really hurt. We went home and kind of went about business as usual, but then at football he would complain about it hurting again. Pretty much anytime he was running around hard like at practice he said it hurt, but other than that, he never complained. Then he played in a game and it was hurting him so bad that we decided to get it checked. We got an x-ray and sent it to a back specialist. We were told that it was a hairline fracture on his transverse process. With this type of fracture, they can't really do anything to help it other that treat pain, and there isn't any real risk of it getting worse and he was ok to play on it if he chose to. Our tough little stud said he for sure wanted to keep playing on it! It's supposed to be a 6 week healing process. Can't believe our guy has been playing on a broken back, and is going to keep playing. So proud of our tough little stud!

Cute note we found from Mia's friend Jude from a couple years ago as we were cleaning out a cupboard :)

The team's first complete pass; from Lewis to Rhett.

Rhett's Quarterback sack

Another pass

Rhett is such a stud. He played such a huge game on both sides of the ball even with the fracture in his spine. At the end of the game after battling hard and taking some hard hits, he was struggling with a lot of pain, but I'm so impressed with his grit and how hard he works!

Tessa:

I heard Tessa talking to herself while she was going to the bathroom: "Ugggghhh...I'm so sick of this!...." and then after a while... "Woooohooooo!" lol.

Reesie:

After Chris opened the car windows when there had been tooting and burping going on in the car, "Finally some fresh air...not tooty air or burp air."
