Month #5

Mia is our world.  We have had the happiest 5 months with our happy baby girl.  We're the luckiest parents in the world! Mia is getting close to rolling from back to belly.  She is trying to figure out how to sit up, but not quite there yet.  She loves to scream, especially when we are supposed to be quiet, like at church.  She loves toys and playing.  She is growing so big and we just love her so much!

I love the way she looks at Chris. She's smitten.

I love this little baby so much, and she brings Chris and I so much closer together.

Snowboarding

The day before Valentine's day Chris surprised me with my gift;  a day of snowboarding at The Canyons and new snowboarding gear! It was the perfect gift.  We had so much fun together!

Chris got ahead of me at one point on our way down the slope.  When I caught up to him, I found him with half of his board stuck in the snow!

Sweet Little Cousins

A few weeks ago Kyle, Charise, and the boys headed off to Florida for some fun in Disneyworld!  So Chris, Mia, and I got to spend some time with sweet baby Lyla.  Lyla is completely adorable, and I loved seeing these sweet babies look at each other and try to figure out what was going on.  

Lyla is a tiny little girl.  She's 5 months older than Mia, but Mia is about her same size.  The camera angle in the pictures makes Mia look a little bigger, but really they are about the same size, with Lyla being just a little bit longer.

Lyla crawled over Mia, and Mia just looked at me in shock :)

Month #4

We adore this little 4 month old of ours.  She is such a little angel.  Mia sleeps like a champ, about 9-12 hours a night.  She is growing so big SO fast!  She loves to giggle, smile, and scream.  She is figuring out how to work those little hands, and now loves to play with toys and grab things.  She learned to roll from tummy to back this month.  She is getting better at sitting up, but still needs support.  At her 4 month check-up she weighed 13 lbs 14 oz (50%) and was 25.7 inches tall (90%).  We love our little munchkin!

I don't know of any other baby who does this with their little hands..but I think it's adorable!

Loves playing with daddy

Mia has an adorable little baby mohawk.  It's about the only hair she has on her pretty little bald head.  So cute...

Not one bit sleepy…:)

That little face just melts my heart!  I'm so lucky to be this perfect little angel's mommy.  We love having Mia in our lives!

Month #3

Mia is such a sweet, happy baby. I can't get over how lucky I am to be her mommy. She still sleeps through the night, and Chris and I race to be the first one to get her out of her crib from her naps, just so we can be the one to get one of those precious smiles.  

Big smiles

Mia totally adores Chris.  She even prefers his singing over mine.  A couple weeks ago, Mia was a little sad, so Chris was singing to her and she was totally mesmerized by his voice.  After a while, Chris left the room, and Mia started crying again.  I tried to pick up where Chris had left off in singing to her, but she kept fussing.  Chris came back in and started singing to her again, and she immediately stopped crying again.  So Mia has spoken…Chris is the better singer :).  Sometimes, just hearing Chris' voice helps Mia calm down.  She is one big daddy's girl.
