Chris and I went out on a fun date. We took the Canam out for a ride up Farmington Canyon after the kids were in bed. It was so fun to be together and such a beautiful ride. 

We took the kids to Lagoon for a day, and it was so fun! Mia and Rhett rode a ton of the big rides and really liked them. I was surprised at how brave they were. Rhett loved the bat and the spider, and Mia rode cannibal.

 

Sweet little Reesie K. cut a chunk out of her beautiful, bouncy hair! 

 

 

 

We got a nice summer rainstorm, and sent the kids out to run around and play in it. I about died when I went to take a picture of Reesie, and she whipped out these poses.

When we're driving and we smell food or a restaurant or someone bbq-ing; "MMMM! It smells like hot dogs!"

"I love you mom. You're the beautifulest girl on earth!"

 

Reesie started opening up some mail and said, "Mom, is this for me?"

Me: "No."

Reesie: "Then why am I trying to open it?"

Me (laughing) : I don't know, why are you?"

Reesie: "Because I love you!"

First day of school

 Mia started 2nd grade and Rhett started Kindergarten this week and my mind is blown that they are so big! Mia was pretty adamant about getting some pictures with just herself, and I'm getting a pretty big kick out of Reese and Rhett in the background of these pictures. They were not very happy about it. I asked Mia and Rhett both if they were nervous, and they both said no, they were just excited! I'm so happy that they love and are excited about school, and I'm so excited for all the good things they will experience, but I miss them when they are gone. These little cuties are getting so big!

 

 

Tessa Month #10

 Tessa had a little bit of a rough time this month getting in 3 teeth one right after the other. It was 3 teeth on top, the middle ones and then one on the side. And those three came in right after her bottom middle 2 popped out at the end of last month. It was crazy how they all pretty much came at once, and it was a little rough on our poor little munchkin. But she made it through and now she has 5 teeth and she's a little biter, so we have to watch out! :) She eats mostly table food now. She can stand up by herself while holding on to furniture, and will occasionally even do it in the middle of a room without any help.

St George

 I LOVE going to Toquerville Falls so much! We rode the canam up and had the funnest time watching the kids slide around on the rocks. 

 

 

It was so adorable watching Tessa crawl and splash around in her own little natural splash pad. Such a beautiful and fun place to be.

 

Reesie is a little ball of sunshine
