One of my absolute FAVORITE things we have ever done; a local recommended that we hike Hoopi Falls. There was a cliff jumping waterfall and the a waterfall that emptied into a pond we could swim in with a rope swing. It was so BEAUTIFUl and incredible and fun!

 Catamaran Tour of the Napali Coast

 

The water was pretty treacherous for our catamaran tour. It was incredibly windy and we had some pretty big waves the crashed onto us. At one point as we were sailing to the Napali Coast, Chris was standing at the front looking out at the ocean. He told me a couple of times to come up by him (I was a little bit further back and hanging onto the side rails), but I had been sprayed a few times at the front and didn't really want that to happen again so I wasn't coming. Just as Chris told me to come up by him probably the third time, a HUGE wave came up over the front and soaked him :D. We were all laughing pretty hard.

We came up under this beautiful little cave with a little waterfall coming down. The captain pulled the boat up under it, and told us to go up and stand under it. It was to fun and incredible, and beautiful, and afterward, the captain told us the it was 'Fertility Falls'. We laughed and said we already had 4 kids at home. The captain was a little surprised and told us that he thought we were on our honeymoon :) After the tour, a really nice guy that was on the tour with us told us he had taken these pictures of us while we were on the tour, and he sent them to us <3

On our last day, we went back to one of our favorite places, Hanalei Bay. The drive to Hanalei on Kuhio highway was my favorite drive that we experienced in Kauai. Something beautiful to see everywhere you turned the whole drive through jungle and over rivers and in the distance mist covered green and black mountains with shimmery waterfalls. Such a beautiful way to end out trip, sitting on the pier and walking on the most beautiful beach.

 

Some of our favorite things

*Kenji Burger: We ate there almost every single day we were there. It was also our last meal in Kauai :) delicious!

*Wailua Shave Ice: I LOVED the lava flow shave ice :) Chris loved his shave ice with ice cream

*Puka dogs: So so good with the hot sauce and mango relish! So different and so delicious.

*Sleeping Giant Grill: We loved the fish tacos. Chris loved the fried ones, but I preferred grilled. It was all so delicious.
